Extending the “Plus” concept of a slightly wider Newport 2 but with an I-beam-style jet neck for a bit of toe flow, the Studio Style Newport 2.5 Plus—also available in a left-handed model—is a tour-inspired shape with a new Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert, improved damping technology and chain-link face milling for a high-performance blade with softer sound, improved feel and remarkable feedback. Milled from 303 stainless steel with customizable stainless steel sole weights, the Newport 2.5 Plus has an integrated 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole plate, which allows for weight to be distributed to the putter’s perimeter, increasing MOI and enhancing balance. With signature red cherry dots, the Newport 2.5 Plus includes the line’s new shaft band, headcover and custom-designed Full Contact Slim grip, with a left-handed option also available.
